NUTRITION FOR WELLNESS

‘Nutrition for Wellness’ (formerly weight management) is the Academy’s 10 week course which promotes healthy eating and healthy lifestyles. The course is designed to help clients of all ages achieve their fitness and lifestyle goals whatever they may be.

Whether you are looking to lose weight, tone up, look and feel better, increase motivation and energy levels or simply to become bigger, faster, stronger, our Nutrition for Wellness programme guarantees you success in achieving those elusive goals.

Forget all the faddy diets that have gone before; they simply do not work and are not necessarily healthy either. From the outset our team maintains that the Nutrition for Wellness programme is the ultimate long-term and sustainable diet with no quick fix or short-term solution. Adequate and proper nutrition is often undervalued, but its importance to health and fitness is paramount if you are to be successful in attaining your short and long-term fitness and lifestyle goals. Therefore our Nutrition for Wellness course is the ideal solution for ensuring you get the best possible start to your fitness regime, ensuring you can be as successful as possible and fulfil you full potential.

The course may only be 10 weeks in duration, however our approach promotes a long-term lifestyle change strategy, therefore after completing the course our facilitators will always be available for ongoing support, advice and programme reviews.

Nutrition for Wellness aims to do exactly what the title suggests. Focusing on optimum nutrition combined with active lives and/or specific training programmes the course will teach you all you need to now about healthy food choices and the correct type, duration and intensity of exercise to guarantee you every success.

 

The Course Format

The Nutrition for Wellness course is designed to run for 10 consecutive weeks. The powerpoint presentations can be done either in a group format with other members or on a one-to-one level dependent on preference and course uptake. If undertaking the presentations on a one-to-one level, the course can be individually tailored depending on instructor availability (for example, session dates can be modified to cater for any planned holidays or all 10 sessions can be block booked into a time frame shorter than the specified 10 weeks).

The course has two options:

Presentations only – 10 week presentations with all handouts at a cost of £75

Full Package – as above but includes 5 Personal Training sessions at a cost of £175

 

Presentation Timetable

Days and times for presentations and Personal Training sessions are confirmed with your trainer during your enquiry / goal-setting session.

Presentation 8. Energy Balance and Weight Maintenance
